Using a completely free App we’re going to enlarge the size of the scrollbars in Windows. I am on Windows 7 and after IE9 installed, the scroll bar was much narrower than before. How do I make it wider You were probably taking advantage of the fact that IE Zoom used to enlarge everything about a window. So, you could still use W7's Magnifier to achieve the same effect. (Win-Esc to turn it off.)The width of the scrollbars depends on the Widget toolkit in use by your Desktop Environment not on the distro itself. This means that width is specified by the theme(GTK, QT, etc). Now scroll down a little to General options with which you can customize the width of the scrollbar.
